Financial Reports For Governors Village and Townes

2012 Year-end

2012 year-end financial reports for both the Governors Village master association and for the Townes of Governors Village have been added to the Documents section under the Community Balance Sheet and Budget Analysis headings. They are attached below also.

Final 2013 Budget

Also, added to Documents (and attached) is an updated copy of the 2013 budget. Please note that the only change is on line item 59500 to accurately track the interest on the loan.

Financial Reporting Schedule

Financial reports are not available to post on the website every month. At some point last year the Board had decided that the financials will be made available every quarter – March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31. The community management company will email them to the communication committee the following month, when they become available.

Communications would like to acknowledge and thank Community Manager Alina Cochran and Community Service Administrator Carlie Cobbett. They have been very helpful in setting up a procedure to send out financial and other documents as soon as possible for timely posting on the website.

Board Of Directors Meetings Calendar For 2013

Third Thursday of odd-numbered months at the Community Room, Camden Governors Village, 100 Durant Street, at 6:30 pm. Contact Talis to confirm time and place.

Meet The 2012 Townes HOA Board Of Directors

New officers were elected at the December 2011 meeting. They are: Valerie Meicher, President; Burt Judd, Vice President; Adele McLean, Treasurer; and Anne Lees, Secretary. Also serving on the board is Robert Aruitt.

The Townes, one of six neighborhoods in the Governors Village community, is unique in that it collects dues, has its own officers and holds its own annual meeting in the fall for the homeowners. Learn more about the Townes of Governors Village.

Agenda – Townes Board of Directors Meeting February 8, 2012

The Townes of Governors Village Board will meet Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 6:30 pm in the private dining room at the Bean and Barrel.

The agenda opens with a half-hour Homeowner’s Forum: Discussion of Parking Rules and Issues. This topic will cover history, current rules, problems and a brain storming session for identifying possible changes and solutions; and will end with drawing up a plan for success in addressing parking issues.

At this meeting, the first of 2012, there also will be a review of the roles of Board members. The complete agenda is attached.

Community Manager, Joel Strangis, requests if you plan to attend the Board meeting please confirm the location, day and time with Talis Management a day or two before the meeting.
