LoMo Market Begins Saturday, September 29, 2012 2:30-4:00pm

Attached is a flyer with information about local food mobile, LoMo Market. Weekly stops begin today, Saturday, September 29, 2012, from 2:30-4:00pm, and will continue for at least 8 weeks at the parking lot behind The Bold Building and PNC Bank.

The effort which brings LoMo Market to Governors Village has been led by Park resident Karis Jackson.  In a listserv email recently Jackson thanked Jill Ehrenfeld for providing a central location with plenty of parking for the market and thanked other community residents “for showing interest and helping our community to get our own stop.  Let’s show our support so that it becomes a permanent stop!”

Also, Igloo Frozen Yogurt located right across the street from The Bold Building at 50221 Governors Drive is offering a Buy 1, Get 1 at 10% off if you go by Saturday and show your LoMo receipt.

Each household in the community should receive a copy in their mailbox over the next 2 weeks. The flyer also is attached below so you can go ahead and mark the dates.

And we are pleased to announce that, this year again, CARE organization (Chatham Animal Rescue) will be bringing out dogs and puppies available for adoption, and we will be collecting donations to help support their organization.
