Vision and Purpose

The vision of the Governors Village Grounds Committee is to create a strikingly attractive community landscape which enhances our community’s value, utility, and aesthetic appeal.

The Governors Village Grounds Committee works hard to maintain and improve landscaping of the neighborhood common areas.  Volunteers serve on subcommittees for each neighborhood to plan and prioritize improvement projects within each neighborhood. The chairs from each neighborhood committee then meet jointly, along with the Board of Directors grounds liaison, to plan and prioritize improvements for the community.

• Develop and maintain a master plan
• Develop and maintain a prioritized project portfolio
• Budget and forecast financial needs
• Involve the community through volunteerism when appropriate

Each community has a Grounds Chair person for common areas and other grounds related requests. Please refer to the contact list to find your community ground chair representative.
