2010 In Review

The website hosting organization compiled some statistics for how governorsvillage.org did in 2010.  The blog was launched on September 25th and it was our busiest day.  The most popular post that day was Documents.  One way to look at the website traffic since then is to note that “a Boeing 747-400 passenger jet can hold 416 passengers. This blog was viewed about 3,200 times in 2010. That’s about 8 full 747s.”  (Governors Village has about 500 households.)

Since the governorsvillage.org went live, the Communication Committee has been working to provide material on the website that will help you know the who, what, when, where and why of life in this neighborhood.  In 2011 we hope this will become a conversation, a dialogue, a chance for everyone to feel welcome to participate.  Please let the Communications Committee know how the website can become more useful, and if you are involved in planning activities, making decisions for the neighborhoods, please send in your information to share on the website.  Help guide us and help shape the community.
