Egg Hunt, Dog Parade and CARE Fundraiser April 23, 2011

Thanks to Social Committee Chair Shannon Leslie for providing details on this upcoming spring event.

Children, canines and charity are expected to fill Meadow Park Saturday, April 23. That is when the Social Committee kicks off its 2011 season of activities for the Governors Village neighborhoods with an eclectic spring event combining an egg hunt, a dog parade and a charity fundraiser.

The community’s 2011 Annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 11:00 a.m.  Look for the Easter Bunny to make an appearance! Canine lovers will want to arrive earlier for the Dog Parade to be held at 10:00 a.m.

During both events representatives from Chatham County’s CARE will be on hand with dogs and puppies available for adoption. CARE will also be accepting donations to support their mission to promote the health and safety of all cats and dogs in Chatham County, and they provide foster care for animals until they can be adopted into permanent homes.

Kindly RSVP by April 13.  Please read the following for schedules and rain dates, important RSVP information and suggestions for CARE donations.
