The pool parking lot was transformed into a bustling marketplace this morning for the Annual Governors Village Community Yard Sale. Buyers and sellers, children and adults, bargains and treasures, food and neighborly spirit combined with ideal spring weather to make this event a success. Several neighbors used the yard sale as an opportunity to help others, including offering pastries and coffee for sale to help provide books to children and collecting household donations to assist the state’s tornado victims. Congratulations to organizers James Hayden and Debbi Nichols and to all the participants.
