At the third quarterly meeting of 2011 the Communication Committee on July 18, 2011 members approved a content policy to guide what kinds of information to publish on the website. This guide clarifies the goal and focus of the website to be limited to non-commercial information by or about organizations and activities sponsored by the community’s Property Owners Association (POA).
Setting this focus will help in branding the website and in managing the time commitment needed to maintain the site properly. Members agreed to promote the Yahoo group listserv as an alternative for posting other types of information. Full minutes from the meeting are available below.
The POA Communication Liaison, Rosemary McGee, presented the policy at the board’s July 21, 2011 meeting and the board unanimously accepted the Communication Committee policy.
