Richard Bobst today announced his resignation from the Governors Village Seat on the Property Owners Association (POA) Board of Directors.
The election letter recently sent to the community states my intent to run for another term this fall. Since that letter, my situation has changed. For personal reasons, I am resigning from the board and have withdrawn from the election process.
I have enjoyed working with the community and the board and I believe that we have accomplished a good deal. I will miss it but I will not continue.
The election letter to which Richard refers, along with a nomination form, was mailed to homeowners and posted on community websites (Talis and Governors Village) last week. The election will take place at the Annual Meeting on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 7:00 pm at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Read more about the meeting and see the letter:
