The Governors Village Communication Committee invites you to participate in the 15th Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC). The 2012 GBBC will take place over four days: Friday, February 17, through Monday, February 20.
Bird watchers across the U.S. and Canada are getting ready to tally millions of birds in the annual count coordinated by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, Audubon, and Canadian partner Bird Studies Canada.
Please join your Governors Village neighbors as we help to create a real-time snapshot of where the birds are across the continent.
Include the kids! Anyone can participate, from beginning bird watchers to experts. It’s free, fun, and easy—and it helps the birds.
Plan to count birds for at least 15 minutes on one or more days of the count and then enter the results online at the GBBC website.
