Santa visited the Governors Village neighborhoods on December 12th. The day was warm so Santa left his reindeer at the North Pole and wore his air conditioned suit. The Chatham County Firefighters were kind to arrange for his travel around our neighborhoods.
The Governors Village Social Committee provided hot chocolate at Santa’s stops and Santa dove into his bag of goodies to give each child a candy cane. Santa was welcomed by one and all and even a four legged friend. The children had their opportunity to confess to Santa when they were just a little bit naughty instead of nice. They told Santa what they hoped to find under their tree this Christmas.
After everyone got their treat and took family photos, Santa boarded the fire truck headed for the airport where his helicopter was waiting to take him back to the North Pole. His pilot, Rudolph had everything ready for the flight. Merry Christmas to all!
