The weather should be great for Saturday’s BooFest and family campout under the stars.
BooFest is Governors Village’s traditional Halloween celebration. Events take place at Governors Park playground area starting at 4 p.m.
Zeke’s Meats will offer food for purchase. In addition to the regular menu items Zeke will offer 1/4 pound hotdogs and fresh cut french fries and a large assortment of drinks and water. Residents are asked to bring a dessert to share and chairs.
After BooFest the fun shifts to Meadow Park for the Annual Family Campout.
Hope to see everyone Saturday!

Tim and Amanda Wojoski are organizing the campout this year. The fire will be started around dusk with plenty of hot chocolate and s’mores available for campers. In the morning doughnuts and coffee will be available for those who make it through the night.
As in the past, campers are encouraged to set up tents in the far end of the Meadow Park past the amphitheater anytime Saturday afternoon. Flashlights/lanterns and chairs for sitting around the fire will come in handy. There will be a porta-potty available onsite.
