Hope everyone is having a fun and cool summer! Here are the upcoming events happening in the neighborhood. If you haven’t already – make sure you mark these dates on your calendars. September 10th: Annual Pool Party
- Get ready for the best End of Summer Party yet. On Sunday, September 10th from 4 – 7 pm (rain date is Sept 17th from 4 -7) we will have dinner catered by Sal’s NY Pizza, fun and games provided by Cor4 Fitness and music provided by DJ Chris.
- Please bring a CORA Food Donation to the event for entry and help us FILL THE TRUCK!
- This event is free (with a food donation) for all residents of our wonderful neighborhood. Guests are permitted to attend but guest tickets (to cover the food) must be purchased in advance.
- Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can have the correct amount of food. Sign Up for FUN here
September 30th: Fall YardSale
- The Community Yard Sale will be on Saturday, September 30th from 8:00 -12:00 am (rain or shine)
- Residents can hold their sale at individual homes (i.e., driveways/front yards/porches) OR the pool parking lot.

- If you are unable to access the form you can email your Name, Street Address, and Governors Village subdivision to kabfinneran@gmail.com to get your yard sale confirmed.
- The Social Committee is collecting $5 from each participating household to cover publicity.
- We will also publicize the event in multiple places to get a good turnout.
- Since only community yard sales are permitted in Governors Village, please plan on registering to take advantage of this opportunity!
