Surveillance Cameras Installed At Pool

Recreation Committee chair, Trent Leonard, recently announced a surveillance system has been installed at the pool. This moves comes after several recent incidents of vandalism at the pool after hours. Effective June 26, 2014 the camera system is always on, but records only at night when the pool is closed. The cameras cover only the public common areas.

Trent encourages residents to email him privately with any concerns.

Pool Cabana And Kitchen Cleanup

This reminder was posted to the Community Yahoo Group May 27, 2014

Please remember that if you use the cabana/kitchen area, YOU are responsible for the cleanup of said area. It is expected that you will leave it as clean as you found it. While the attendant will certainly take out the trash, etc, they are NOT responsible for cleaning up after parties and the like.

This is a long standing policy so expectations have not changed.

Use Of Tennis Courts

This notice was distributed to Governors Village homeowners on March 26, 2014.

Broken and missing plastic covering will hasten the rusting out of our fence.

Broken and missing plastic covering will hasten the rusting out of our fence.

Dear Governors Village Homeowner,

It has come to our attention that Lacrosse players are playing inside and on the outside of our tennis courts. THE BIG PROBLEM: The lacrosse balls striking the fence are breaking the fence links and the plastic covering of the links. The links would need to be repaired. The broken and missing plastic covering will hasten the rusting out of our fence. This is a kind request not to use our tennis courts to toss a lacrosse ball against the fence, whether inside or outside the tennis court.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation to this matter.
