Dear Governors Village Homeowners,
The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office scheduled a meeting with our homeowners on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 6:30 PM. The meeting will be held in the Community Room at Camden Apartments located at 100 Avery. This is an informal meeting with Officer Richard to talk about the current trends with crime reported in the area and general safety tips. Please use street parking so Camden residents have their parking spaces to use.

The Governors Village Communities are invited to meet with the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department. Coordinated by Lt. Phillip Richard, on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office will station members of its patrol and investigative units at 50000 Governors Drive in Chapel Hill for the next Mobile Meetup event.
Meetups are offered at various focus points throughout the county to better facilitate the transmission of information between law enforcement and community members.
In this case, discussions will focus on recent vehicle break-ins in the area.
This outreach is designed to improve service and strengthen positive relationships with the community.
If you would like to get to know your local deputies and join the open conversation in your neighborhood, look for the Sheriff’s Office Special Operations trailer in the Food Lion parking lot on Governors Drive on October 11, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Additional Mobile Meetup dates and locations will be announced regularly.
